David Betancourt has had a long and successful career in the military and logistics management. David started their career in 1996 in various logistics positions with the US Army. In 2009, they became the S3 (Chief of Operations) for the 262 QM BN. In 2007, they were the Team Chief for a Military Transition Team for the Army, where they managed a team of 15 members to train and advise senior logistics officers of the 2nd Division Iraqi Army. In 2010, they became the Company Director of an Advance Individual Training Company, responsible for the individual training, discipline, quality of life, administrative support, and readiness for Soldiers training in the Military Occupational Specialties of Aerial Delivery, Field Services, Mortuary Affairs, and Petroleum Lab Technician. In 2011, they were the Director of Aerial Delivery Logistics for the 82nd Sustainment Brigade and XVIII Airborne Corps, providing expert advice to the Brigade Commander, 82nd Airborne Division Commander, XVIII Airborne Corps Commander, and respective staff on all matters pertaining to aerial delivery operations and maintenance activities. In 2013, they became the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of the First Army Division East, responsible for all of the professional and social obligations of the CEO/General. In 2015, they were the Deputy Director and Director of Operations Support for the 82nd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. In 2018, they were the Operations Center Logistics Planner/Manager for the US Army, responsible for providing coordination, execution and monitoring of all aspects of Sustainment of Coalition and Joint forces in support of campaign plans and operations in the Middle East Region. In 2021, they were the Logistics Manager for Virus Geeks, responsible for all logistics functions that includes procurement, transportation management and senior logistics advisor to executive leaders. David was also the Director of Finance and Administration for the Department of Labor - Job Corps, responsible for directing all support for the Pinellas County Job Corps Center.

David Betancourt received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General and a Concentration in Management Information Systems, General from Hampton University in 2005. In 2014-2015, they completed a Master's degree in Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
