Salvador Perez-Galindo

Salvador Perez-Galindo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government engagement and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Senior Advisor and SVP Head of Government Engagement for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Visa since May 2005. In this role, Salvador managed relationships with key government stakeholders across nearly 90 countries, leading negotiations on data localization, market access, and payments infrastructure. Previous positions include Vice President of Government Relations for Latin America and the Caribbean at Visa, a board member at the Corporate Council on Africa, and senior roles in various public and private sector organizations including the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público and Comisión Reguladora de Energía in Mexico. Salvador holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Policy from Columbia University, along with significant professional development through various prestigious institutions.
