Saurav Kumar

Saurav Kumar is an experienced technology leader with a substantial background in AI platform engineering and data solutions. Currently serving as Director of Platform Engineering & AIOps at Visa since June 2018, Saurav has been instrumental in developing a high-performance AI platform capable of processing 65 thousand transactions per second with sub-millisecond latency. Previous roles at Visa included positions as Senior Staff Data Engineer and Software Engineer, focusing on risk and authentication solutions. Prior to Visa, Saurav worked at Karsun Solutions as a Lead Engineer on public trust projects for the US General Services Administration and had formative experiences at Unisys, Next Step Universe, Reliance Industries, Rooman Technologies, and Times Technologies. Saurav holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
