Seshu Yalamanchili

Seshu Yalamanchili is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology strategy and implementation, particularly in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as the Director of Generative AI and Machine Learning Application Strategy and Execution at Visa since October 2017, Seshu is responsible for developing AI application strategies aimed at global business transformation and ethical, scalable solutions. Prior to this role, Seshu spent 20 years at General Motors, where key positions included IT Leader for Autonomous Vehicle Technology Development and IT Leader for Software Engineering and Data Analytics, achieving significant contributions in building AI-driven technologies and managing large-scale distributed systems. Educational qualifications include an Executive Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University, an MBA in Technology Management and Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a B.S. in Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, an MS in Computational Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech, and additional studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
