Ilana Grimberg

Ilana Grimberg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business strategy, planning, and development within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of SMB LAC at Visa since October 2025, Ilana previously held a role at IDB Invest focusing on business strategy and planning from March 2024 to October 2025. Prior to that, a substantial tenure at Citi from July 2014 to February 2024 included positions such as Senior Vice President of eCommerce and Business Development, as well as various leadership roles in the COO Office and Citi Ventures. Ilana's career began at Itaú Unibanco and included an internship at Santander. Educational credentials include an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside two degrees from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas: a Master of Science in Economy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management.
