Karen Ellis

Karen Ellis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and operational leadership. Currently serving as Senior Director of AML and Sanctions Product Compliance at Visa since September 2019, Karen has previously held significant roles including Senior Director of Global AML and Sanctions Program Governance and Director of Global Compliance Visa Direct. Prior to Visa, Karen served as VP of Client Solutions at Credere Group and held various leadership positions at First Data and Western Union, where notable achievements included leading global operations and implementing streamlined compliance processes. Additionally, Karen has contributed to the Children's Outreach Project as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
