Karen Maynard

Karen Maynard is the current Applications Manager at Visage Imaging. Karen previously worked as the ITS Radiology Applications Manager at Yale-New Haven Health Services Corporation from September 2017 to November 2020. In that role, they were responsible for Radiology Applications management for the Clinical Imaging Technology Team, which included PACS, VNA, Dictation Client, Workflow Orchestrator, integrations between applications, project management, and a myriad of third party applications. Some of the major applications they worked with include Primordial Workflow Manager, Acuo VNA, PS360 VR, Visage Imaging Viewer, Nil Imaging Viewer, and Fuji PACS.

From September 2014 to November 2020, Karen also worked as a Clinical Imaging Technical Analyst II at Yale New Haven Health System. In that role, they were responsible for Healthcare Informational Technology Analyst and PACS Administration. Karen was also engaged in organizing the Yale New Haven Health System to transition to a VNA for imaging archival. Additionally, Karen served as the project lead on a recent PACS upgrade for the Yale New Haven Health System. Karen also assisted the Yale Clinical Imaging Team with multiple third party appllications, including but not limited to Powerscribe 360, LifeImage, PeerVue, etc. Finally, Karen is certified in Epic Radiant and Cupid for 2014/ 2015.

Karen Maynard holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer from Gateway Community College.

They work with Detlev Stalling - Software Development Manager, Josh Becker-Dober - Senior Systems Engineer, and Bill Szewc - Systems Engineer. Some individuals on their team include Peter Szabla - Application Architect, Julian Lautenschlager - Application Engineer. Karen Maynard reports to Malte Westerhoff, Global CTO.
