About The Role

We are currently recruiting a FP&A Analyst II to join our FP&A team, specializing in supporting our sales and marketing organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing departments, taking charge of sales budgets, including commissions, and delivering insightful reporting. This unique position offers exposure to a traditional Finance function in a fast-paced startup environment, while also delving into commercial aspects such as reporting on distribution, marketing, and revenue activities. How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to manage budgets, including quarterly bottoms-up forecasts in our planning system
  • Conduct monthly analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast variances
  • Calculate and report quarterly commissions
  • Dashboarding and reporting from a variety of systems including: Netsuite, Cube (Finance planning software), and Salesforce 
  • Prepare regular reports on revenue activities, including consolidating distributor reporting
  • Actively participate in strategic discussions, offering financial expertise to support organizational goals

On Your First Day We’d Like You to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales or a related field
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Minimum of 2 years of finance experience, preferably in the medical device, pharma, or life science industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP Systems (e.g., Netsuite) and finance forecasting software
  • Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) or a willingness to take courses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a bonus if you have worked with senior commercial leadership
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy

Salary Range:

  • $83,054 - $120,000 (Minimum to maximum salary range for candidates based in San Jose, CA)
  • Compensation for the role is based on geographical location. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly.
  • Compensation also depends on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
