Jelle Kerkstra

Jelle Kerkstra has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Viscon Group since August 2017, following roles as Software Engineer, Research Intern, Junior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer Intern at the same company. Prior to Viscon Group, Jelle held the position of Web Development Team Lead at Boatsters from March to October 2017 and completed an internship at Microsoft Nederland as part of the Microsoft Talent Program from October 2016 to July 2017. Jelle started the professional journey in sales, working as a Salesman at Formido Bouwmarkten BV and as a Distribution Assistant at Voorwinden Retail BV. Jelle holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences from Otago Polytechnic. Additional educational background includes studies in Computer Engineering at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and completion of VWO in Science & Engineering at Wartburg College - Guido de Brès.
