Winta Semere Amlesom

Winta Semere Amlesom is an experienced researcher currently working at Viscon Group since September 2021 and serving as a Student Researcher at Ghent University since February 2019, focusing on plant breeding and advanced tissue culture. Previous roles include Lecturer and Manager of the Tissue Culture Laboratory at Hamelmalo Agricultural College from July 2016 to August 2018, where Winta led research on improved potato micropropagation and managed laboratory safety. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Assistant position at the same college and a Junior Researcher role at the National Agricultural Research Institute, contributing to research methodologies and plantlet acclimatization.
