Amr Darwish has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 2022 onwards, they have been working as the Senior Director of Product Marketing & Market Development, SiC at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the Chair of the MBA Alumni Board at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business starting in 2019. In 2021, they co-founded and became a board member of Zeppelin and Friends Dog Rescue. Before that, they were a founding member and COO of MaxPower Semiconductor, Inc. from 2009 to 2022 until it was acquired by Vishay Siliconix. Amr also played a role in political fundraising, serving on the Biden Finance Committee in 2020 and the Hillary Clinton Finance Committee from 2015 to 2016. In 2012, they were an Obama Fellow, and earlier in their career, they held a role as a Product Marketing Engineer at Integrated Device Technology from 2006 to 2009.
Amr Darwish has an extensive education history. From 1997 to 2001, they attended Lynbrook High School. Following that, they enrolled at San Jose State University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering - Analog, but the specific start and end years for this degree are unknown. Amr completed their BSEE degree between 2001 and 2006. In 2009, Amr Darwish pursued an MBA at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, which they completed in 2011.
