Lori Carter is an experienced education professional currently serving as the RTI Coordinator and Reading Specialist at Vision Preparatory Charter School since September 2017. Previously, Lori held various positions at New Hope Christian Academy, including Coordinator of Intervention and Enrichment, where responsibilities included supervising Learning Specialists and providing professional development. Throughout tenure at New Hope, Lori served as Director of Academic Technology and Library Services, Library Media/Technology Integration Specialist, and Fifth Grade Teacher, focusing on technology integration and literacy development. Lori's educational background includes post-graduate work in literacy leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from Carson-Newman University, a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine.
