Chris Golas

Chris Golas has extensive work experience in the software development field. Chris started their career at Cabletron Systems in 1995 as a Project Leader and Firmware Engineer. In 1998, they joined Video Network Communications Inc as a Manager of Wide Area Video Products, where they were responsible for product direction, design, and supervising a small team of software developers.

In 2004, Chris moved to IOCOM as a Software Engineer, specializing in video codec development, video capture and decode, and C++ client and server development. Chris worked at IOCOM for 11 years before joining Oncam in 2015 as a Principal Software Engineer. At Oncam, Chris held this role for four years, until June 2019.

Currently, Chris is working at Visionable Global as a Senior Software Development Engineer since July 2019.

Chris Golas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, where they attended from 1978 to 1982. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire, completing their studies from 1988 to 1992.
