John del Bene

John Del Bene is an experienced education specialist and athletics coach with a diverse background in teaching and sports. Currently serving as an Education Specialist at Visions In Education Charter School since August 2022, John has also held positions as an Adjunct Kinesiology Instructor and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Los Medanos College since June 2018. Prior experience includes roles as an Education Specialist at Mount Diablo Unified School District and Clayton Valley Charter High School from April 2014 to September 2022, and as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Diablo Valley College and MVP FLIGHT, INC. Additionally, John has contributed to coaching at San Diego Christian College. John holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Exercise Science and a Master's in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine, along with a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from San Diego Christian College and teaching credentials from National University.
