Dorothee Pierrard

Dorothee Pierrard is a certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist currently employed at VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired since January 2017. Previous experience includes serving as an Orientation and Mobility Instructor at the Catholic Guild For the Blind from 2009 to 2012, as well as instructing French at the FIAF - French Institute Alliance Francaise between January 2008 and August 2011. Dorothee Pierrard also worked as an Instructrice en Locomotion at the Association Valentin Haüy during 2005 to 2006. Educational credentials include a CAERLDV in Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Professions from the Association pour Personnes Aveugles ou Malvoyantes and a Diplome d'etat de Psychomotricite from ISRP - Institut Supérieur de Rééducation Psychomotrice. Additionally, Dorothee Pierrard is pursuing an American Certification in Orientation and Mobility with ACVREP since 2012.
