Ruben Coellar

Ruben Coellar, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors and roles. Ruben started as the Associate Director of Property & Technology Management at the YMCA of Eastern Union County in 2002, where they co-led construction projects and coordinated property management activities. In 2005, they became the Director of MIS, overseeing all Information Systems for the YMCA. Later, in 2008, they took on the role of Branch Executive Director, managing all aspects of the Elizabeth Branch YMCA. In 2010, they started their own consulting firm, M&R Consulting Group LLC. Currently, Ruben holds the position of Chief Program Officer at VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired, where they provide strategic direction and oversees program delivery.

Ruben Coellar, MBA, earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance & MIS from Saint Peter's University between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University-North Brunswick, NJ, from 2000 to 2003.

VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a nonprofit rehabilitation and social service organization whose purpose is to develop and implement programs to: - assist people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired to lead independent and active lives in their homes and communities, and - educate the public to understand the capabilities and needs of people who are blind or visually impaired so that they may be integrated into all aspects of community life.
