Waqas Mushtaq

Waqas Mushtaq has over 15 years of professional experience. In 2003, they began their career as an Assistant Manager at Carrier Telephone Industries, Islamabad. Theirrole included marketing IT products, critically analyzing customer needs and providing IT solutions, and defining business strategies and efficient distribution channels. In 2004, they moved on to become an AM Technical at Worldcall Telecom Limited, where they sourced vendors for turnkey Microwave solutions, negotiated with vendors, and performed technical and financial comparisons. In 2005, they took on the role of Dy.Manager at a Utility Provider, where they worked as a focal person for all procurement and contracts under Govt and Donor funded projects. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Consultant at The World Bank, where they gained a complete understanding of Bank Operations Policies and Standards and participated in missions for projects under supervision and preparation. In 2016, they became the Founder and CEO of AARZ.PK. In 2017, they Co-Founded VisionX, where they focused on operational excellence through process improvement and performance metrics, devised policies to establish and nurture the company's vision, culture and core values, and designed and implemented business strategies, plans and procedures. In 2018, they Co-Founded PackageX, where they also served as the Co-founder & Chief Of Staff.

Waqas Mushtaq received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila between 1998 and 2002. In 2005 and 2007, they obtained their Master of Business Administration in Marketing from IBA, Punjab University. In 2006, they completed a Management Development Program at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. In 2012, they obtained certifications in Works Procurement Management from ITC-ILO Turin Italy and Procurement Cycle Management from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
