Dominic Foliano

Dominic Foliano has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dominic started their career in 2008 at Select Medical, where they worked their way up to becoming a Clinical & Billing Information Systems, Implementation Manager. In this role, they focused on IT process improvement, project management, and assisting with EHR and ancillary system implementations.

In 2012, Dominic joined UPMC as an Assistant Director Patient Financial Services. Dominic acted as a liaison between RCM leadership and IT leadership, overseeing various billing office functions and revenue cycle analytics. Dominic also played a role in the development and implementation of Allscripts patient accounting platforms.

After working at UPMC, Dominic joined Allscripts in 2014 as the Director Managed Services. Dominic was responsible for strategic planning and daily oversight of revenue cycle operations, specifically during the conversion to Epic Resolute. Dominic collaborated with department chairs and deans to ensure a smooth revenue cycle continuum and improve the patient financial experience.

Dominic's most recent position was at VisiQuate, Inc., where they started in 2016 as a Senior Manager, Client Services. Dominic then transitioned into the position of Vice President Client Development in 2020. In this role, they focused on existing client business and relationship development, served as a revenue cycle subject matter expert, and led new solutions initiatives.

Dominic Foliano obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology with a focus on Healthcare Informatics from Capella University. Dominic attended Capella University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they studied Business Administration and Management, General at Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2006, although they did not complete a degree in that field. Additionally, Dominic obtained certifications as a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from HFMA in June 2021, and as a Certified Health Technology Specialist from AHIMA in February 2013.
