Caroline Beteta began their work experience in 1990 as the Vice President of Public and Legislative Affairs at E. Del Smith and Company. Caroline then moved on to become the Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Marketing and Communications at the California Trade and Commerce Agency from 1991 to 1997. Finally, they became the President and CEO of Visit California in 1998, where they have remained in their current role.
Caroline Beteta has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UCLA. Caroline also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Additionally, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or field of study from there.
