Matthew Sabbatini is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the tourism and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations at Visit California since 2004, Matthew oversees an annual budget exceeding $130 million, focusing on marketing California as a premier travel destination. Previously, Matthew held the position of Acting Chief Administrative Officer at Brand USA, contributing to a significant turnaround from deficit to a $60 million surplus during a public/private tourism initiative. An early career included various managerial roles at organizations such as ACT Test and Delta Venture Partners, where Matthew developed a comprehensive understanding of finance, operations, and cross-functional communication. Matthew holds a Master's Degree in Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Colorado State University, as well as a degree in Accounting & Human Resources from the University of California, Davis.
