Rob Anaya is an experienced professional in the tourism and event management industry, currently serving as the Manager of Group Business at Visit California since January 2023, where responsibilities include enhancing Professional Meetings and Events programming to promote California as a leading meetings destination. Prior to this role, Rob Anaya spent over eight years at the San Diego Tourism Authority, culminating as the Director of Site and Client Experience, overseeing teams dedicated to creating exceptional meeting experiences in San Diego. Earlier career experiences include various roles focusing on client services and destination marketing within the organization. Rob Anaya began the career as Sales and Marketing Manager at California Sub-Meters, managing marketing initiatives and product sales. An educational background in Business Management was obtained from San Diego State University between 2007 and 2009.
