Embark on an exciting journey as an Event Coordinator at Visit Seattle, where you'll serve as a crucial support system for Event Manager(s) and the Director of Events. Your role will involve assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of both internal and customer-facing events aligned with our mission. Your contributions will significantly enhance Visit Seattle's influential presence in the events industry.

What You’ll Do
Who You'll Work With:
In this role, you will collaborate with the Director, Destination Services and Events and Event Manager(s). You’ll also interact with industry partners, venue experts and Visit Seattle customers to support industry and client facing events.
Who You Are
Ideal Event Coordinator qualifications:
2+ years of relevant administrative experience required.
Consistently positive, “can-do” attitude and professional demeanor.
Able to be flexible, nimble and display incredible adaptability to changing needs.
Strong service approach with both internal and external customers, displaying a knack for finesse.
Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner, seeking out areas that need attention, and building credibility with all internal and external customers.
Able to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hospitality industry experience preferred.
Very high proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language, English, used in the workplace.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
