Craig Davis

Craig Davis is the current President and CEO of VisitDallas. Craig has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, holding various leadership positions with companies such as Aptech, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., and Hilton Worldwide.

Craig began their career in 1988 with Hilton Worldwide, where they worked in convention services and sales before being promoted to Director of Marketing. In 1995, they left Hilton to join The Drake Hotel as their Director of Sales and Marketing. After a year with The Drake, Craig moved to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they spent three years as their Director of Sales and Marketing. In 1999, Craig left Starwood to join Aptech as their Director of Sales and Marketing. Craig held this position for two years before leaving to join VisitPittsburgh.

Craig has been with VisitDallas since 2010, first serving as their Senior Vice President of Sales and Services before being promoted to President and CEO in 2013. Under Craig’s leadership, VisitDallas has become one of the most successful tourism marketing organizations in the United States.

Craig Davis studied at Western University and received certification from the Destination Marketing Association International as a Certified Destination Management Executive.
