John J. Lynch

Recently retired from the Northport-East Northport School District as the Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services, John J. Lynch was born in Brooklyn, New York. John’s career in education spanned four decades, the last thirty-five within the Northport-East Northport community.

His personal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Iona College, New Rochelle, New York, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Manhattan College, Bronx, New York and a Professional Diploma degree in Educational Administration from Long Island University, Greenvale, New York. As a teacher, school counselor and administrator, John has dedicated his professional career toward enhancing children’s personal and educational lives.
