Bret Bolin

Bret Bolin is the Managing Director of the Private Equity Foundation at Vista Equity Partners. Bret has over 25 years of experience in the software and technology industries.

Bolin was previously the Venture Partner at Technology Crossover Ventures from February 2015 to June 2015. Bret was also a Board Member at KMD from October 2014 to June 2015, and a Board Member at eFront from March 2014 to February 2015. In addition, they served as a Non-Executive Director at UNIT4 Group from March 2014 to June 2015.

From June 2012 to June 2014, Bolin was the Executive Chairman and a Board Member at Misys. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO at P2 Energy Solutions from August 2008 to January 2012, and the President and CEO at Turaz from February 2012 to June 2012.

Bolin began their career as a CFO, holding that position at Ventyx from January 2005 to December 2008. Bret then served as Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal from January 2005 to December 2005.

Bret Bolin has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance from Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business.
