Jay Wood

Jay Wood has over 20 years of work experience in the distribution and logistics field. Jay is currently the Director of Distribution and Logistics at Vista Outdoor Inc., overseeing the storage, distribution, and transportation functions of the Ammunition Group. In this role, Jay is responsible for developing and implementing distribution strategies and driving operational excellence. Prior to their current position, Jay worked at Federal Premium Ammunition, where they held various roles, including Sr. Manager of Distribution and Logistics, Project Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Operations Analyst, Process Engineer, and Mechanical Designer. Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated a track record of successfully managing budgets, executing initiatives, and leading teams in lean manufacturing methodologies.

Jay Wood holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Concordia University-St. Paul. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) from the University of St. Thomas, Lean Certification from the University of Michigan, and Six Sigma Green Belt from ATK.
