Arindam Sarkar

Arindam Sarkar has a diverse background in corporate planning, finance, and leadership roles. Arindam started their career at Accenture as an Associate Software Engineer in 2008. Later, they transitioned to Raymond Limited as Manager of Corporate Planning, focusing on finance functions and equity market value. In 2014, they joined Vistara - TATA SIA Airlines Ltd. as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Finance and Chief of Staff, actively contributing to the company's vision through strategic planning, budgeting, and M&A activities. Over the years, they progressed to roles like Country General Manager and Vice President (Head) of Corporate Planning and Finance, consistently exceeding financial and strategic KPIs, driving the successful acquisition of Air India, and transforming the airline's cost structure. Arindam has a proven track record of building strong corporate finance teams, automating reports, and facilitating management committee meetings.

Arindam Sarkar holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) from 2004 to 2008. Arindam pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2009 to 2011. Arindam later obtained the qualification of a Qualified Accountant in Accounting and Finance from CIMA between 2019 and 2023. Additionally, they have additional certifications in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
