Chris Kiefer

Chris Kiefer has a strong background in law and corporate counsel. Chris started their career as a Corporate Associate at Palmer & Dodge LLP in 2001 and worked there until 2010. Chris then joined the Genzyme Corporation as a Senior Corporate Counsel from 2010 to 2012. Following this, Kiefer joined Ironwood Pharmaceuticals as a Commercial Counsel from 2012 to 2014. Chris then moved to Momenta Pharmaceuticals as an Associate General Counsel from 2014 to 2017. Kiefer's most recent positions include General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Visterra Inc. from 2017 to 2018, and currently, they hold the role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the same company.

Chris Kiefer received their J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law in 2001. Prior to that, they completed their M.A. degree in Political Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998. Chris started their educational journey at Westminster College (MO) and obtained their B.A. degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 1995.
