Gabe Vazquez

Gabe Vazquez's work experience includes a role as Vice President & Associate General Counsel - Operations at Vistra Corp. since October 2016. Prior to that, they worked at TXU Energy as Vice President & General Counsel from March 2008 to October 2016. Gabe also served as a Corporate Attorney at Michaels Stores, Inc. from November 2004 to March 2008. Gabe's earlier experience includes working as an Associate in the Corporate Practice Group at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP from August 2002 to October 2004 and as a Summer Associate at both Haynes and Boone, LLP and Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in 2001. Additionally, they have worked as a Legal Assistant in the Code Compliance Division at the City of Dallas and as a William E. Collins Clerk at the Supreme Court of Texas in 2000.

Gabe Vazquez completed their J.D. degree in Law from the SMU Dedman School of Law from 1999 to 2002. Gabe obtained their B.A degree in Spanish, Psychology, and Latin-American Studies from Southern Methodist University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Jesuit College Prep from 1991 to 1995.
