Michael Wootton

Michael Wootton has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Michael started their career as a Support Specialist at The Energy Authority in 2008, eventually transitioning to roles such as Real Time Electric Trader and RTO Resource Specialist. In 2014, they joined The Structure Group as a Senior Consultant, where they provided expertise on energy markets and conducted meetings with clients. Michael then moved to Accenture in 2015 as a Consultant, working on energy market consulting projects. Currently, they are working at Vistra Energy since 2016, where they have held various positions including Lead Analyst - Risk P&L and Analytics, Senior Trader - MISO/CAISO, and their current role as Cash Trader, Director CAISO/MISO.

Michael Wootton obtained a High School Diploma from Bending Oaks High School in 2000. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Principia College, which they completed in 2004. Later, in 2010, Michael earned an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of North Florida. In 2011, they obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA.
