Chris Marquis

Chris Marquis has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Chris is currently the Managing Director and Global Head of Private Clients at VISTRA since May 2019. Prior to their current role, they held various positions at HSBC Private Banking for over two decades. These roles include Managing Director and Global Head of Private Wealth Solutions, Head of Private Wealth Solutions in Asia, Global Chief Risk Officer for Private Wealth Solutions, and Chief Operating Officer and Global Chief Finance Officer for Private Wealth Solutions, among others. Before joining HSBC, they worked as a Financial Controller at BHP from January 1995 to February 1997. Overall, Chris Marquis has a strong background in leadership, risk management, finance, and private wealth solutions.

Chris Marquis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from The University of Western Australia. Chris has also obtained certifications including Chartered Accountant from the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Diploma in Applied Finance from the Australian Securities Institute, and membership in the Society of Estate & Trust Practitioners from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.
