Atif Kureishy

Atif Kureishy has a diverse background in various industries and roles. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Software Engineer at NASA, where they were involved in the launch of the Terra satellite. Atif then moved on to the National Security Agency, where they served as the Chief Scientist/Engineer, providing thought leadership and strategic oversight for various programs. In 2006, Atif joined Booz Allen Hamilton, initially as a Senior Associate before being promoted to Principal. Atif managed the Data Analytics & Cyber portfolio, delivering strategic work and emerging Industrial Cyber offerings. In 2016, they joined Teradata as a Vice President, overseeing the expansion of the Artificial Intelligence & Deep Learning practice. Atif later became the Global Vice President, responsible for delivering enterprise AI capabilities to top global companies across various industries. More recently, Atif founded Vistry in 2020 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, they act as a Strategic Advisor at Accel Robotics since 2021. Atif is known for their technical leadership, capability development, and innovative solutions to complex challenges, especially in the field of AI and analytics. Atif is also active in external media, frequently sharing their knowledge at conferences and forums on emerging topics in AI, Machine & Deep Learning, Cyber, and Advanced Analytics.

Atif Kureishy pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Math from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, which they completed from 1994 to 1999. Following that, they enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Distributed Computing, specializing in the field of study. This degree was conferred upon him between the years 2000 and 2004.
