Arttu Sillanpää has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Arttu is currently employed at Visual Components as an Application Engineer since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at KONE as a Master's thesis worker in Advanced mechanics from June 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were an R&D Design Engineer at Adecco, where they specialized in high rise mechanics for KONE Corporation from September 2020 to May 2021. Arttu has also gained experience as a Summer Trainee at KONE, working on Mechanical Engineering and High Rise Mechanics projects from May to August 2020. Prior to that, they were a Summer Trainee at KONE Corporation, focusing on Shaft mechanics from May to August 2019. Additionally, Arttu has research experience as a Research Assistant at Aalto University from November 2018 to April 2019, where they contributed to the development of novel electrohydraulic actuators and systems in mobile hydraulics and explored methods for the recovery of residual heat in industrial applications.
Arttu Sillanpää pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering, starting with a Bachelor's degree at Aalto University from 2016 to 2019. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2019 to 2021.
