Dr Ishwardas Muthreja

Dr. Ishwardas Muthreja is a seasoned academician with extensive experience in Mining Engineering, serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, since July 1983. Dr. Muthreja earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Coal Mine Waste Dump Stability from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology in 2015. Prior educational qualifications include a Master of Technology (MTech) in Mine Planning & Design from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, obtained between 1986 and 1988, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mining Engineering from Government College of Engineering & Technology, Raipur, completed from 1974 to 1979. Early education was received at St. Paul's Higher Secondary School in Raipur.
