Zhongyuan Sun has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 with an undergraduate trainee scheme at the Bank of China. In 2017, they worked as a summer intern in the Marketing and Relations Department at Soochow Securities Co., Ltd., and later as a financial apprentice at Zhenyang Accounting Service Co., Ltd.
In 2020, Sun took on multiple roles, including an analyst intern at Injective Protocol, a freelance copywriter at DAOSquare, and founder & chief trader at Wellington Trading Workroom. Zhongyuan also participated in various virtual internships at Bright Network, including financial services professional, consulting, and investment banking.
With a strong background in finance and an interest in the cryptocurrency industry, Sun has gained experience in trading, financial analysis, and copywriting.
Zhongyuan Sun's education history begins in 2015 when they attended the University of Toronto's U of T Summer School, where they studied Academic Success and International Leadership Development. In 2018, Zhongyuan Sun enrolled at Zhejiang University and completed a Bachelor of Economics, focusing on Finance, General. The following year, in 2019, they pursued a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Sheffield. In 2020, Zhongyuan Sun continued their education at University College London (UCL) for a Master's Degree in Infrastructure planning, appraisal, and development. Additionally, in the same year, they also pursued a second Master's Degree at UCL, this time in Infrastructure-oriented studies.
