Malek Sharif

Malek Sharif has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Malek has held positions in various companies and industries, including Vitacress, Noble Desserts Holdings Ltd, Community Foods Ltd, Manitowoc Foodservice UK Ltd, Wealmoor Ltd, BAA, and BAT. Throughout their career, they have successfully implemented ERP systems, standard costing, and efficient reporting models. Malek has also focused on cost management, profitability improvement, and business performance. Malek has experience in turning loss-making units into profitable ones by reviewing pricing strategies, contract renegotiation, and cost control. Malek has managed finance functions, teams, and financial control processes in several organizations. Additionally, Malek has experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.

Malek Sharif has a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, which they obtained from 1986 to 1988. Malek also has a degree in Cost and Management Accounting (ACMA) from The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh, obtained from 1987 to 1993. Furthermore, they hold a degree in Accounting from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ACA), which they earned from 1987 to 1990. Malek Sharif pursued an MBA in Business Management from Cranfield School of Management, attending from 1997 to 1998. Currently, they are studying for an ACA degree in Accounting at ICAEW. Malek has additional certifications in ACA and ACMA.
