Rohit Chand

Rohit Chand is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of biosensors, diagnostics, and medical technology. Currently serving as Scientist II at Vital Bio since October 2021, Rohit has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility including Scientist I and Associate Scientist. Prior experience includes positions as Research and Development Scientist at Kenota Health, focusing on innovative medical testing technologies, and as an Industrial Postdoctoral Fellow at both McMaster University and eye3concepts, where Rohit developed rapid sensing assays and diagnostic platforms. Additional postdoctoral experience was gained at the University of Guelph and Sungkyunkwan University, specializing in electrochemical sensors and nanomaterial functionalization. Rohit holds a Ph.D. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University and multiple degrees in microbiology and related fields, showcasing a strong academic foundation in scientific research and development.
