Jayme Bynum

Jayme Bynum has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Jayme is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Vital Energy since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Manager of Network Systems at the City of Broken Arrow from August 2021 to October 2022.

Jayme also held a significant position at SemGroup Corp, where they served as the IT Director of Infrastructure & Customer Services for over 15 years, from January 2006 to March 2021. In this role, they provided leadership and direction to the Infrastructure, Customer Services, and Security teams. Jayme was responsible for financial management, strategic development, and governance, as well as collaborating with Operations Technology teams for the implementation and support of control systems and field operations.

Before their time at SemGroup Corp, Jayme worked at Williams in various positions ranging from System Analyst to IT Manager. Jayme gained extensive management experience, including IT Help Desk, Client Support, Change Management, IT Security, Web Development, and Systems Administration. Jayme started their journey in the IT industry as the Data Processing Coordinator at Fintube from 1988 to 1990.

Jayme Bynum attended Oklahoma State University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science & Computer Systems.
