Lea Nieuwoudt

Lea Nieuwoudt has held various roles throughout their work experience. Lea is currently serving as the Director of Strategy at Vital Farms, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at McKinsey & Company from 2011 to 2022, starting as a Business Analyst and eventually becoming an Engagement Manager and Senior Associate. Lea also had experience as a Summer Fellow at Bellwether Education Partners and as a Visiting Fellow at Education Pioneers in 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at Nova Pioneer as the Chief of Staff to the CEO and Acting Director of Operations, as well as an Operations Manager, from 2014 to 2017. Lea also worked as a Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University from 2009 to 2011, and as a Summer Intern at Cytec in 2008.

Lea Nieuwoudt holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, earned between the years 2007 and 2011. Lea also holds a Master of Education in Innovation in Education Reform from the University of Virginia, obtained between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business between 2017 and 2019.
