Rob Discher

Rob Discher has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rob started their career as an intern at IBM in 2001, followed by working at GolinHarris for just over 4 years. At GolinHarris, they worked on various accounts, including Texas Instruments and Special Olympics. In 2006, they joined Edelman as a Senior Vice President, where they worked in different practice groups and handled clients such as Walmart and the American Petroleum Institute. After eight years at Edelman, they joined Rackspace as the Director of Global Communications, where they built and ran a world-class communications operation. In 2016, they moved to REI, initially serving as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs before becoming the Divisional Vice President of Communications and Community. During their time at REI, they played a key role in shaping the company's stance on social issues and driving brand impact. In 2022, they joined Vital Farms as the Vice President of Communications.

Rob Discher attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
