David Wright

David Wright is the current Chief Operating Officer at Vital and has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. David has a unique expertise in patient engagement strategy and implementation and has worked with leading health systems to document significant advancements in quality, safety and service outcomes.

David Wright started their career in 2003 at GetWellNetwork where they served as Senior Vice President for 15 years. David was responsible for leading the company's work with the Department of Defense and the Veterans Health Administration to transform the way care is delivered and received by patients. In partnership with VHA and DOD, David was able to extend the practice of Interactive Patient Care through innovation and patient engagement into a whole health model of care management.

In 2018, David Wright left GetWellNetwork to join Marymount University where they served as an Executive-in-Residence for the School of Business and Technology. In this role, David was responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the school's faculty, staff, and students.

In 2020, David Wright joined Vital as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's operations and initiatives.

David Wright completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Care Administration at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology at Virginia Tech.
