Jacqui Drope

Jacqui Drope is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as the Director of RESET Alcohol Policy at Vital Strategies since September 2022. Previously, Jacqui held the position of Managing Director for Global Cancer Prevention at the American Cancer Society from January 2010 to June 2020 and served as Senior Program Officer at the International Development Research Centre from January 2008 to January 2010. With extensive consultancy experience for organizations such as the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit, UICC, WHO, and Health Canada, Jacqui was instrumental in creating an acclaimed online course on tobacco control for public health professionals in Canada. Additional roles include Research Associate at the University of Toronto and Research Officer at the University of California, San Francisco. Jacqui’s academic background includes a Master of Public Health (Honours) from the University of Sydney and a BA in Political Science and History from McGill University.
