Katherine West

Katherine West has extensive experience in various technical and administrative roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Program Officer at Vital Strategies since June 2017, Katherine has also held positions including Program Assistant, Program Associate, and Administrative Assistant. Prior to this, Katherine worked as a Fibre Optics Engineer at British Telecom - Openreach, focusing on the installation of Ethernet Fibre circuits and telecommunications infrastructure. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Sales Administrator at Heil Farid European Company Ltd, where responsibilities involved bid preparation and tender management, and a significant tenure as an Aircraft Electrical and Avionics Technician in the Royal Air Force, conducting maintenance and repair work on aircraft systems to meet engineering and airworthiness standards. Katherine holds an Associate’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from RAF Cosford.
