Luyanda Majija

Luyanda Majija, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Director for Communication within the Food Policy Program at Vital Strategies since July 2018, after a tenure as Senior Communication Manager in South Africa. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at Meropa Communications, where expertise in health communications was developed, and as a Multimedia Journalist and Spokesperson at ER24, responsible for content creation across various media formats. Luyanda also held roles as a Journalist, Producer, and Writer at CNBC Africa. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health focused on Social and Behaviour Change Communication, a Bachelor of Humanities in Journalism, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry, all attained from the University of the Witwatersrand.
