Ana María Gómez Sanclemente

Ana María Gómez Sanclemente, also known as Nana Sanclemente, is a talented illustrator with extensive experience in creating impactful visual content. Currently serving as an illustrator at Universidad de Los Andes since September 2023, Sanclemente is focused on a comic addressing gender violence in universities while also contributing as a scriptwriter. As an illustrator for Vitala Global Foundation, Sanclemente emphasizes a female Latina perspective in illustrations for the "AYA Contigo" app, assisting women in Latin America with sexual and reproductive rights resources. Additional roles include freelance illustration, artist in residence for a graphic novel, and various projects involving visual storytelling across social and cultural initiatives. Sanclemente holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Parsons School of Design and degrees in Fine and Studio Arts and Graphic Communications from prestigious institutions.
