Nigel Thurstans

Nigel Thurstans has a diverse work experience history. Nigel began their career in 2009 as a Naturalist at Sea Quest Expeditions and Zoetic Research, where they identified wildlife species and provided guests with insights into animal behaviors. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Caretaker at Community Options, Inc.

In 2012, Nigel joined Community Blood Services, where they held multiple roles. As a Medical Technologist in the Cord Blood/Stem Cell Department, they processed umbilical cord blood donations and managed laboratory inventory. Nigel later became a Quality Control Coordinator, responsible for equipment maintenance and validation plans, as well as staff training. Finally, they served as a Components Supervisor and oversaw blood and blood product supply to hospitals in New Jersey and New York.

Since May 2019, Nigel has been employed at Vitalant as a Senior Manager for Manufacturing and Laboratory Services. Further details about this role are not provided.
