Robert de Jongh has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert started as the Senior Director of Technical Services at the American Red Cross - South Carolina Blood Services Region in 2001 and stayed in that role until 2009.

In 2009, Robert became the Vice President of Blood Services Operations at the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. Robert successfully led 300 employees in various departments and implemented a new process flow that reduced staff arrival to departure times.

From 2011 to 2012, Robert worked as the Vice President of Client Services at Columbia Healthcare Analytics, Inc. Robert developed and implemented a new business development plan, bringing in multiple new client accounts and adding over $900K to the company's revenue.

In 2012, Robert joined Baptist Medical Center as the Administrative Director of Hospital Operations. Robert led a large division with 140 employees in a six-hospital system. Robert'sresponsibilities included staff supervision, budgets, strategic planning, and cost containment. Robert also redesigned the testing system, centralizing all testing into one center.

Robert's most recent position is Vice President of Clinical Services Administration at Vitalant, starting in 2018. Robert has led enterprise-wide operations and services administration for the healthcare organization, focusing on process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies. Robert implemented a new outsourced program that reduced cost while maintaining quality.

Throughout their career, Robert de Jongh has demonstrated strong leadership abilities, expertise in budgeting and strategic planning, and a track record of implementing successful process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the healthcare industry.

Robert de Jongh's education history starts in 1982 when they enrolled at the University of New Orleans. Robert pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and completed their studies in 1986. After that, from 1986 to 1988, they attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.

With an interest in healthcare administration, de Jongh furthered their studies at Nova Southeastern University from 1994 to 1995. During this time, they earned a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration.

Additionally, in 1989 to 1990, de Jongh attended Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation to acquire a board certification in the field of Specialist in Blood Bank Technology.
