Nick Byrd

Nick Byrd, CPA has over 20 years of work experience. Nick most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Vitality Living and Charles Hall Construction, LLC. Prior to that, they were the VP of Accounting, HR, & IT at Kinzie Real Estate Group, where they also held the role of Controller. Nick also has experience as a Chief Operations Officer at Extreme Property Solutions and TD Stout Preservation. Nick started their career at SIM2K as a Senior Systems Analyst and Project Manager. In 2012, they founded Byrd Consulting, LLC, where they worked as an Accountant & IT Consultant. During their time at Byrd Consulting, they focused on financial analysis, company valuations, and IT infrastructure improvements.

Nick Byrd, CPA holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Mathematics at Hanover College. Nick also possesses several additional certifications. In February 2017, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Furthermore, they have obtained various Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator in November 2005, Microsoft Certified Professional in July 2003, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in July 2003. Nick has also obtained the Network+ certification from CompTIA in November 2002, as well as the A+ certification from CompTIA in July 2002.
