Athar Zafar

Athar Zafar has worked in the technology industry since 1983. Athar began their career at InteCom Inc as a Senior Development Engineer, where they designed telecommunication devices. In 1994, they moved to Pioneer Standard Electronics as the Director DataCom/TeleCom Vertical, responsible for 200 accounts and managing and training 27 Sales personnel and 9 Application Engineers. Athar then moved to NuHorizons Electronics in 1998 as the Vice President of Engineering Worldwide, directing, managing and motivating 90 Field Application Engineers and 215 Sales Engineers in North America and Asia. In 2007, they joined Arrow Electronics as the Regional Technology Manager, working with Medical, Industrial, Security and Lighting companies to help customers design and develop with the latest solutions available in the market. In 2012, they moved to Future Electronics as the Regional Technical Manager and Advanced Engineer. Finally, in 2017, they joined VitalTech Innovations as the Vice President of Sales & Solutions and Director of Sales Engineering, responsible for providing VitalTech solutions for better outcomes across patient care.

Athar Zafar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BSEE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southeastern Oklahoma State University between 1978 and 1983.
