Tony Valado has a diverse and extensive work experience in digital marketing and e-commerce. Tony currently serves as the Founder & Chief Marketing Officer at Gontan Digital Ventures. Prior to this, they held the position of VP, Global Ecommerce & Digital Marketing at WW (formerly Weight Watchers), where they focused on customer acquisition and retention, leading to a 350% growth in global ecommerce.

Before WW, Tony worked at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare as the SVP of Digital Marketing, Ecommerce & 3rd Party Marketplaces. In this role, they managed all digital marketing and ecommerce activities, including new customer acquisition, the complete overhaul of the ecommerce platform, and relationships with marketplace partners.

Tony also gained experience at notable companies such as 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC., where they served as Vice President of Digital Marketing & Enterprise Customer. Tony successfully led all digital marketing activities for the company's food brands, surpassing revenue targets. Tony also worked as General Manager and Director of Marketing & Merchandising for the FineStationery brand at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC., focusing on improving marketing channels and driving sales through various tactics.

Earlier in their career, Tony held positions at The EGC Group, Viacom, Avenue A | Razorfish, HarperCollins, and 1-800-flowers.com, gaining experience in digital strategy, online marketing, and account supervision. Tony's diverse roles and experiences have contributed to their expertise in digital marketing and ecommerce.

Tony Valado attended Gonzaga College High School from 1992 to 1996. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in marketing and MIS at Loyola University Maryland from 1996 to 2000. Tony furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and Finance from Hofstra University between 2001 and 2004.
